My name is Katrin Moye, and I am a ceramic artist. I specialise in making tableware using the traditional technique of slip painting on earthenware. My pattern designs are based on memories of my childhood in the 1970’s, and I ‘m inspired by everyday items I remember from the time such as wallpaper, picture books and cushions. I have developed my patterns on the simplified natural motifs found in design from this period as well as in the 1950s and 1960s. I am currently developing a new body of work inspired by gardens, leaves and trees, which will include 2d work on paper such as lino print, collage and drawing, as well as new work in ceramics.
I live in the United States. How may I purchase your very beautiful ceramics?
Dee Rowland

[…] Throughout Sherwood art week, all the local shops have art in the windows and some even had live music. My favourite event is the Secret Garden Craft Fair. We were so lucky with the weather last weekend and it was lovely to sit in the sunshine eating burgers, listening to live musc and drinking very strong cider! I stocked up on cards from Eloise Renouf and we bought a birthday gift from Katrin Moye. […]

Katrin, I love your work. I visit Crimson Laurel Gallery in Bakersville, North Carolina as I can when I’m up that way for my job. I plan to introduce them to your work and beg them to do a show with you, IF that is something you’d be into. In the meantime, I’d love to start investing in some pieces, but your web site link doesn’t seem to be working.

I love your products and would like to incorporate.
You have wholesale price list?
Saludos y gracias!

Hi Katrin
My name is Frankie Atkinson and after looking at your lovely work on your website and just how incredibly busy you are, I think my request wil be a ‘sorry no’ from the start! I’ve been looking for an artist who works in muted colours in slip ware fir a wedding gift for my daughter who is getting married this year. A simple plate in muted colours with a bride and groom with their names and wedding date are the only details needed. I would very much appreciate a reply but realise you are a busy lady.
Kind regards
Frankie Atkinson
Hello Frankie, I am so sorry that I didn’t respond to your message until now! I expect I have missed the special day now… I was on holiday when your enquiry came through then it dropped right off the end of my emails.
I take a lot of commissions for wedding plates and other commemorative things. So yes, I could make you a plate… but I don’t do human figures so it wouldn’t be as you wanted. if you look through the images on my facebook page (www.facebook.com/katrinmoyepage) you could pick from these the kind of thing you could have on the plate.
sorry again and best wishes
katrin
Hello Katrin, I live in France in Britany, and I have a shop, decoration and paints. Is it possible to sell your wonderfull ceramiq in my shop and what are your conditions ? Sincverely, Nelly
Hi Nelly, thankyou very much for your message and kind enquiry to sell my work in your shop – I am sorry but I don’t sell my ceramics wholesale any longer. They take me too long to make to keep up with stocking for retail! I do appreciate your interest though.
Best wishes
Katrin
